Build the corridors.
Whether your path runs through consulting, product, marketing, technology, or somewhere we have not named yet, you will find a place for it here. Bring your skills to a team of exceptionally talented people who will both challenge and support you every step of the way.
Roles to consider
Whether you are just starting out or bringing years of experience, there is room for you at LFG. We welcome interns and non-college graduates, and we also recruit seasoned professionals from backgrounds that include finance, government, engineering, law, the military, medicine, manufacturing, and many others. Experienced hires step into a range of different roles. Because we work across multiple sectors, we actively seek out varied skills and perspectives.
Generalists
Most new consultants begin as generalists, building experience across a range of industries and functions.
Practice consultants
Others join as practice consultants, focusing deeply on a specific function or sector from the start.
Where we work
LFG works along strategic corridors rather than from a fixed office location. When deciding where to base yourself, think about how close you will be to your personal community and network, and to the corridors where your practice operates.
Open positions
We are hiring business developers: people who open doors, build trust, and turn introductions into mandates.
View open positionsHow to apply
Start with our open positions. Tell us who you are, where your relationships are, and what you have opened before. If there is a fit, a principal responds directly.
How we hire and how long the process takes depends on the role and the corridor. If you are invited to interview, we will give you a clear overview of the steps involved and a realistic sense of the timing.

Careers FAQ
What does Laissez-Faire Group do?
We are an international advisory and execution firm working with governments, strategic capital, and frontier technology. We structure mandates, build sovereign-grade products, and open new markets, and we stay responsible for delivery through the rollout.
Who does LFG work with?
Governments, ministries and sovereign institutions modernising public infrastructure. Enterprises and telcos. Funds and institutional investors allocating strategic capital. Founders building frontier technology that needs institutional form to scale.
Where does LFG operate?
Six regions: Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and North America. Registered entities in Hong Kong, the British Virgin Islands, the United States of America, and Ghana.
What is business-to-government market entry?
The process of selling and deploying technology into public institutions. It differs from commercial sales because it involves procurement rules, licensing, data-residency requirements, political risk, and long approval cycles. LFG handles the regulatory pathway, the institutional relationships, and the deployment itself.
What does sovereign-grade identity infrastructure mean?
A system a national government can operate and be accountable for. Three conditions: the state controls the data and the keys, the system keeps working under attack or infrastructure failure, and it satisfies that country's own legal and regulatory requirements.
How does an engagement with LFG start?
With a conversation about the mandate. If there is a fit, we define scope, structure, and commercial terms in a written engagement agreement before work begins. Introductory calls can be held under NDA where appropriate. Preliminary discussions are not binding, a working relationship begins when the engagement agreement is signed. See our terms of service for the full detail.
Does LFG work with governments directly or through partners?
Both. We contract directly with ministries and public institutions, and work through system integrators, telcos, and local partners where procurement or licensing requires it.
How does LFG handle confidential information?
Mandate details, client names and deal information are shared under engagement and are not published. We do not disclose client relationships or mandate details without consent.
Does LFG provide investment advice?
No. LFG is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or licensed financial advisor in any jurisdiction. Site content is general information only. See our terms of service for the complete disclaimer.
