FAQ
How Laissez-Faire Group works: what we do, who we work with, where we operate, and how engagements begin.
What does Laissez-Faire Group do?
We are an international advisory and execution firm working with governments, strategic capital, and frontier technology. We structure mandates, build sovereign-grade products, and open new markets, and we stay responsible for delivery through the rollout.
Who do you work with?
Governments modernising public infrastructure, institutions allocating strategic capital, and founders building frontier technology that needs institutional form.
Where do you operate?
Six regions: Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and North America. Registered entities in Hong Kong, the British Virgin Islands, the United States of America, and Ghana.
What is business-to-government market entry?
The process of selling and deploying technology into public institutions. It differs from commercial sales because it involves procurement rules, licensing, data-residency requirements, political risk, and long approval cycles. LFG handles the regulatory pathway, the institutional relationships, and the deployment itself.
What does "sovereign-grade" mean?
A system a national government can operate and be accountable for. Three conditions: the state controls the data and the keys, the system keeps working under attack or infrastructure failure, and it satisfies that country's own legal and regulatory requirements.
How does an engagement start?
With a conversation about the mandate. If there is a fit, we define scope, structure, and commercial terms in a written engagement agreement before work begins. Introductory calls can be held under NDA where appropriate. Preliminary discussions are not binding, a working relationship begins when the engagement agreement is signed.
Do you work with governments directly or through partners?
Both. We contract directly with ministries and public institutions, and work through system integrators, telcos, and local partners where procurement or licensing requires it.
Is our work kept confidential?
Yes. Most mandates are confidential; we do not disclose client relationships or mandate details without consent.
Do you provide investment advice?
No. LFG is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or licensed financial advisor in any jurisdiction. Site content is general information only.
Do you hire?
We engage experienced operators on a mandate basis and list open business-development roles on our Careers page when they arise.
How do we contact you?
Through the contact form or at info@laissezfairegroup.com. We respond to serious enquiries from governments, institutions, and frontier operators.
Do you have a partner portal?
Yes. Signed dealflow and business-development partners get private access to track their referrals and follow project phases.
