Held under Chatham House Rule, the summit brought senior officials and technology executives together for closed-door dialogue on AI governance, including the development of the UN Convention on AI, Data and Human Rights, and the digital transformation agendas shaping the African Union, the European Union, and Latin America.
Organized by Laissez-Faire Group in partnership with the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in New York, the African Union, the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI), and the UN Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies (UN-ODET). Executives from Google, Anthropic, Microsoft, and OpenAI participated.
